Photoshop’s “landscape mixer” tool is a “neural filter” that uses AI to make one photo to look more like another (say, to start with a parched desert and give it the winter snow of an alpine forest). So it promises to generate an infinite number of uncanny non-places. In this video, characteristics of eight different images (from Staycation) are applied methodically to one another in sequence, with a slow cross-fade synthesizing changes in season, climate, and ground cover.
